Australia – Carnarvon to Port Hedland

Australia – Carnarvon to Port Hedland

A full day of heavy rain revealed a leak in the roof of our camper. As Britz wasn’t at all helpful we had that fixed locally. We drove up to Coral Bay and Exmouth where the weather was a lot better and where we did some diving. We spent the next day in the Cape Range National Park, swimming and snorkeling at Turquoise Bay, and stayed there overnight. The campsite was very primitive (no facilities besides a simple bush loo) but very beautiful. On Monday we drove up to Tom Price, a small mining site which happens to be the gateway to gorgeous (it has a lot of beautiful gorges) Karijini National Park where we spent the night.
