Singapore is a pretty cool city – figuratively speaking, because in reality it is very hot and humid here! The (airconditioned) shopping on Orchard Road and in the other malls is wonderful, though. Sunday we visited Sentosa Island, which is a lot like Disneyworld without the Disney characters, but we had a nice time on the beach anyway. Unfortunately, Mark and Annette had to go home that evening. Today we did not do too much, except take a very short walk around little India and a boat ride on the Singapore River, which was quite nice. Thanks to Singtel, we’re enjoying a bit of free wireless internet at Changi Airport’s budget terminal right now, which is why you’re able to read this post now…
