Well, we now know why Hawaiian number plates all feature rainbows: because it rains a lot here! But there also is a lot of sun, at least if you’re on the right side of the island, so that means almost 24/7 rainbows. Who cares. We’re still in Hawaii and we’re still starting a year long holiday! On our first day, we took a brief & wet walk around Waikiki and then drove to the northern end of the island.
