In the last two days, we’ve been doing a lot of touristy stuff: seeing the Aranui Cave and Glowworm Cave in Waitomo, and today in Rotorua, three parks: Wai-O-Tapu, Waimangu and Te Puia. Lots of colourful bubbly (hot) lakes such as the champagne pool and even better, mud pools. We are lucky to have our own bubbly bath for two in our motel room, a proper jacuzzi, which we enjoyed with a glass of the local sparkling wine.
